Gary Veloric is a Managing Director and Special Advisor at Mufson Howe Hunter. Veloric’s professional and business experience expands across many industries including investment banking, finance, media and entertainment, healthcare, technology, real estate, and hospitality. Veloric founded The Red Stripe Plane Group in 2007, a platform that provides financial and intellectual capital to entrepreneurs. Prior to starting RSPG, Veloric founded J.G. Wenworth, a specialty finance company and J.G. Wentworth Securities, a merchant banking firm. Veloric began his career at Geriatric & Medical Companies, a publicly traded long-term care company. There, he held various senior financial, treasury and managerial positions, including being a member of the Board of Directors.
Veloric received his B.A. in finance & accounting from American University. He is a founding member of American University’s Kogod School of Business Advisory Board. In 2013, he was awarded an honorary degree of Doctor of Laws Honoris Causa from American University. In 2023, he co-founded the Veloric Center for Entrepreneurship at the America University Kogod School of Business.
